“Once Upon a Berlin Time” documents the rich history of the State’s northern most city (RIP Paul “Poof” Tardiff). From the early 1800’s home of sawmills on the Androscoggin River, next came the papermills in the late 1800’s and the formation of the nation’s oldest ski club. If you call it Mt. Forist, pronounce it BUR-lin, know New England French, you understand why this is a great place to call home. In the heart of the downtown sits this great find. Walk to everything – across the street from the City Rec Center; or just a few blocks to the ice arena, bowling center, and Mt Forist trailhead.
